Street Lords is photographer Peter Sutherland's love letter to New York City and a tribute to cities in general. It features 424 colour portraits taken spontaneously of friends in the streets of NYC, LA and Tokyo between 2002 and 2021.
Featuring known and unknown faces from the worlds of art, photography, surfing and skateboarding, Street Lords is an intimate "locals" eye view of New York street culture... "part of the semi-organized chaos that gives NYC that magical feeling".
